Elvis Penpal To Terminally Ill Girl With Cerebral Palsey

Memories Elvis is the story how Elvis became a penpal to a young terminally ill girl in Sweden. The caregiver of the girl notices how she responds positively to Elvis records. She decides to have the girl write a letter to Elvis and send it to a Hollywood Columnist who had close ties to Elvis. Elvis responds and they exchange letters and gifts until she died in 1963. The caregiver writes a book about this in 1979 called "To Elvis With Love". It is made into a movie in 1980 called "Touched By Love".
