When all is said and done, what will people remember about Elvis Presley? By far I will remember the generous and compassionate nature of Elvis. Elvis never forgot the struggles his parents went through when he was a child and how much he wished he could help.
As an adult he found success in the music business and was criticized by critics for everything he did. But when he gave a brand new Cadillac to a stranger or visited a terminally ill child in the hospital or signed autographs in front of Graceland for hours, no one had much to say.
The truth is Elvis was imperfect like all of us, but he cared about people less fortunate than himself and his greatest joy in his life after Lisa Marie was seeing the happiness in peoples faces when he gave them an unexpected gift.
